its not hard, you have to cut the hole for the gas tank part bigger , cuz 300 have bigger ones, and then u need a 400 seat, and to mount the front plastic, when u lay it on there u'll see ur old mounting thingies just use the l brackets, its easy took me half hour

u got to buy the rear unless u trim the 400 fronts i did that when i ran blue fronts wit the headlights and my red 300 rears

hey im getting the silver maier shiny race plastic for the 400ex and putting it on my 300, i noticed that when i put the 400ex rear plastic on it was real close to the tires and i was wondering if you cut yours to make it look better or if that is a longer swingarm.

toby300ex- no its a stocker alrite, and when i got the 400 fenders they were fine. i just cut em recently for looks.

My 2000 300EX. Mods on the way - raptor shock w/ 400ex, already have the spring, just waiting on a deal with the shock, 20 inch rear razrs, 21inch front razrs, 14t front sprocket, k+n filter, removed chock, 40 or 42 pilot jet, hetricks full exaust, or powroll headpipe and a slip on pipe, not sure what kind I want yet.
ok here we go, like i said, it's not much but here it is
i sold it now for a 400EX. my bro just got a KFX too, that thing is sweet, i'll try to get some pics

ok, the comment some guy made about it being 95% rider and 5% bike is wrong.....you could be the best rider in the world but if your $hit wont go fast you will finish last! ....its like a 50/50

i just had the bore done.i dont have a problem with the front end on the 300ex's but i did want to be able to slide the rear end out easier so i replaced the rear end.i only work in the summers because of school so i cant buy everything all at once.yes it does run hot.right now im runnin 93 octane gas with an octane booster.if u still dont believe me email me.

It want last running pump gas. if that work is done by Pro Fab they dont recommend pump gas in their 330 kits

your right nac's doesnt make graphics for a 300ex but the simple fix to that is buy 250r grpahics.it doesnt quite fit perfictaly but it still looks good.when i get my scanner fixxed i'll post some pic's of it

Wait until i get my prodject quad up on here. Chromalusion painted frame, a-arms, and swingarm.... new shaved stock 300ex plastic (or fullbore, depending on how much money i got left over)... 2inch extended swingarm... and a built 390 stroker on the alky-hol:D

Bartman-
well not much to post... the block is at the shop getting bored (case halves too, monterous bore:devil ) i got the piston, ring, stroker crank, connecting rod, and clutch sitting in a box. The frame is painted and man it look great, DuPont chromalusion red (shifts from a deep cherry red to fire engine red to a reddish orange) and i got the head here too, i'm thinking about putting it on my daily rider quad just to see how she acts. Still need to get the swingarm extended and paint that (i was thinking just flame red with a couple layers of clearcoat) and the plastics on this dude were shot to h*ll, i'm thinking yellow fullbore if they make it. Hopefully it will stay on the ground with a +4 swingarm, and i won't need a lowering kit. can't wait to got try out all the stock Craptors and Z's down at the gravel pit:devil
buy me a camera and i'll post pics, lol

somebody sugested that i run race fuel in my quad since its been bored so far.right now im runnin 93 octane plus an octane booster.is that enough or should i switch to race fuel.i also know a guy who runs av gas in his 250r.i was wondering would it be safe to run av gas in my 410?and if it is safe will they let me use it in a mx race?

Thats a nice quad, but those Fullbore plastics make it look like a duck! The nose is too long! I like Fullbores 400 and R plastics, but not the 300/250X plastics.

I just started a new 250x/300ex project.So far I only have a complete front end,gas tank,steering stem,I was lucky and found a good deal on this stuff.(thanks jerry-89-250r)I am going to use 400ex A-arms,Stock 300 swingarm.The frame,hubs,A-arms,swingarm are all going to be powdercoated glossy black.With black plastic and everything else is going to be silver or chrome.Kinda like an old harley.

Thanks QuadJunkie.No I only have +3 Burgards on the front and a +4 Durablue on the back.It handles great in corners.Now I just need to get more power out of it.

quadrcr87- nice quad, looks about like mine exept mine has stock front plastix, i think u need to get some holeshot mx 20' fronts & 18' rears and a ac new style bumper and that thing would look b.a.

Yeah, it is a very nice bike. He sold it to a guy in southern Louisiana and the dude didn't take care of it. The pic I posted is from after he sold it. Stephen kept that thing in top notch condition. The motor was a full blown 330 stroker, lectron carb, laeger a arms, Works Stadium shocks all around, swingarm, etc. I think he ended up selling it for $4500. If anyone can do it, i'll send a pic of when he had it to be resized.. I just don't know how.

Well mine is no where to being the sickest looking it still looks pretty healthy:D j/k
But I have all the performance that I want for now, except for suspension. So I have started on a external make over. Here is what I have done so far.
This is a pic of the FMF muffler I did, in the picture I had Powder coated the head pipe with High temp silver. I have since striped the head pipe back down and ceramic coated it. (see 2nd pic) I like it much better.

here is the clutch cover that I just did the other day along with the oil cover and the other little brackets. I would have done more but had to get it back together so I can go ride Saturday. First time in like 2 months:confused2
The pics are not that great, had to take them indoors since it is raining.

Thanx man, it took alot of work to build, it took a few days to get it good, my shocks are holding up great so far, they soak up the landing awesome. Try at bluetraxx for a raptor shock, or atvconnection, i'll send u a pm if i see any newhere

I do but I will try and get som fresh ones tomorrow before I go rideing. the 313 kit gets the job done. I don't have time to go race it or anything like that, so it is only used on the trails and some yard drag raceing with my freinds. I can stay dead even with my friends piped 400ex all the way to 5th but I hit the rev limit in every gear. seems like it hit way to early. I have been clocked at 70 and that is with it hiting the rev limit. Thanks for the compliment.

Sounds awesome, you could get a sparks racing or TC racing rev box to fix your problem of hitting the rev limiter.

thanks for the compliment. that swingarm is a stock 89 lengh 250r laegers swingarm. its a full laegers chassis with a pro-trax t-pin front end, zps shocks and cr500 link in the rear. it also has a FDO 365 motor in it. hopefully it will be a 416 soon. Im sending the motor down to ohio later this week.
