The picture actually sucks, but I saw the wreck happening and got a bit nervous being my kid and all:p

He was riding well until that wreck.

The front end washed out on him after he dove the front end in too far.

These are small doubles but good to learn on

Pappy

I think he was happy because he had just cleared this double and was a bit stoked. Lesson learned:D

He never stalled it, and would have kept riding but he tweaked the bars bad enough to warrant calling it quits for the night

I saw his wreck on the 50' table before the bleacher triple Labor Day. I saw it from the bleachers on the other track. By the time i got over there im like what happened? They said some little kid on a black Honda wrecked but hes ok. As he whizzes by. Tough kid!

Not to steal the thread or nothin, but do you have a hard time getting KTM parts in your area Pappy?

I recently rode a 2004 KTM 450SX that a guy wanted to trade for my Raptor. I really liked the bike aside from being a pain to start, but my dad was worried about getting parts and/or service work if it had been needed. Just wondering and thanks.:)

he is fine. a few more bruises to add to his others. If we had a set of bars here they would already be on, he has the bent ones off and on his "bent parts wall":p

Longer, faster jumps dont bottom out nearly as hard as a slower jump.

Most of your momentum is in the forward direction when landing, instead of downward.

Aka.. a 3rd gear jump lands a lot more harshly than a 4th gear jump on the same table.

Wow Pappy, you got a Pro on your hands, how old is he?

Um I have never heard about the speed thing with softer landings, I guess its true I havent been jumping long but when i get the nerve to hit my table in 3rd it does seem to glide right over it other then how when i hit it in wot in 2nd.

If hes' like most.... Now that hes on bikes it won't be long till hes not interested in quads anymore. Your kid seems to do well at whatever he rides. ;)

Hmm.. all i know is someone ate chit hard! They cased it, went over the bars n the quad flipped onto their body. A bunch of ppl ran up from the bleachers to make sure no one ran them over.

Man, I love KTM bikes!! There's just something about them. A close friend of mine has a 525 and a 2005 250SX, and they are both sweet. The 250SX is probably the meanest sounding stock bike I've ever heard.
