does anybody know where i can get one of those oil filter cover plates that has ports on it for oil lines for an oil cooler?? i dont want the whole oil cooler kit... just the plate

I think, i'm not sure, but i think he's right, you have to either drill them yourself or buy the kit, i don't think you can buy it seperately.

James lucky has them. If your computer reads .pdf files, you can look through their online catolog. edit: www.jlatvproducts.com is their website. I believe they are 35-37 bucks. I have the complete Jagg kit, and it is great. I would reccomend trying a larger cooler though, the jagg unit just doesn't seem to have enough capacity for running at slow speeds, although 3rd gear and above (where you generally have no problem anyways) it does keep the temps down.

ive looked in james lucky and i was going to order one actually i placed the order and they called me and told me it was discontuned.. because i was going to do exactly what you said just buy the plate and get my own oil cooler.. a power steering cooler from jegs that would work perfect.. but since jl had them d/s i dont know what to do now.
