Nerfbars!(AC or Proarmor)????

Well my DG aluminum race pegs nerfs are wearing out and the little spikes that your boots are supposed to grip to on are rounding.My feet keep slipping.I am debating on the AC blackline or Pro Armor race with heel gaurds.Do the heel gaurds bother you when jumping????Who makes a better product AC or Pro Armor????

I had AC pro pegs on my Banshee and Loved them. They wore good to. I love the heel guards that were on my pro pegs. When going over whoops I could rest my heels on them and really lean back.

On my 400 I do not have heel guards and my foot hit my tire once in my race today:scary:

if you are wearing out the teeth on your pegs, go with the pro-armour...you can replace the teeth on the pro-armour race pegs.

as far as the heel guards are concerned...i hate heel guards on my bikes. they always came off as soon as i brought a new machine home. i decided that even though i don't like heel guards, that i would get the pro armor nerfs. i love them, the heel
gurdas are not noticable at all on these...

i like ac stuff, and on the blackline the pegs are replacable too, proarmor is nice, but there huge

they are not that big, and unlike every ac product that i have had, or a friend has had, these bolted right up...there was no co-ercing with a hammer to get them on...

i have never riden on any AC stuff but the new back line is very nice. they are now replacable pegs too. i have the pro armor with the heal gaurds and i think they are the best on the market. the gaurds are not an issue on ether set. i actually never even ran the bike with the stock pegs, i put on the pro armor stuff the night i brought it home.

well yea, ac stuff never fits, i only like them couse it looks good once u actually get it on:D but the pro armor ones just look big imo, but the heel guards dont get in your way, the ac ones do once i a while, and the pro armor ones dont rattle like the ac ones, so pretty much ac sucks, but i still love there stuff:confused: idk why

Use a file to sharpen the teeth.
Every item I've had from AC needed a hammer but their stuff looks so damn good I keep buying their shi.t.

FYI: I bought the Propeg w/heelguards and couldn't fit my size 12 boots in like I wanted. Chopped the guards off but still have that extra metal beind the peg. Looks real good.

I have pro amor and like them alot, not to big and they bolt up solid on to the quad and never flex or anything, and the heel guards dont get in the way for me and i wear a size 14 boot, they are actually helpful in whoops for me cause i rest on them...

AC makes garbage!!!! Anything you spend that kind of money on and have to break them and reweld to make em fit is junk no matter how good it looks, not to mention the horrible rattling they do also. Do yourself a favor and go with Pro Armor. Excellent fit right out of the box.....

Don't go pro armor...... they sent me my nerfs with not nets, footpegs, and hardware. and i still haven't heard from them...

no matter wut someone will always have a problem with one or the other, if you didnt want heelguards id say go with blingstar ones, my friend got them and there perfect, the pegs are hardcore.

I fixed mine but i when its time for new ones i'll go with something(PROARMOR) with steel replacable pegs!!!!

I have ac pro replaceble foot pegs with heel guards and love them.My bars went on no trouble with NO modifications.Bolted right up.Got them from hell bound racing on ebay.Check them out.If you want pics pm me.
