i baught the bike like 2 yrs ago with the arens and stock frame , but the guy that sold it to me only used it like 7 time so i consider it pretty new

You can put graphics on like you would tint on a car window...

(soapy water)

Just make sure it is above 80 degrees when you do it....

Nice R too!!!

Have fun mounting your silencer because most of us Arens frame owners have to make brackets in order to get the silencer to sit level. It seems like the front mount on the subframe sits too high.

the bike is looking really good ... i'll update my thread this week with some new pics ... should be done anyday now

... i just noticed that your frame doesnt have a rear crossmember for the motor. was there a difference between years that arens made these?

looks sweet... where did you get the steel braided lines?

250R-Dee

That looks like steel braided sheathing instead of actual steel braided line.

wishmasstir - My frame also does not have the rear upper motor mount crossbar.

i got a question guys ....when i baught the 305pv i noticed it doesnt have the head stay ,does that mean i dont need it then, and Q2 do i need to buy the gasket from hinson for the quick exchange cluctch cover or can i just go to autoparts and get the gasket material, trace it & cut it out will that work ? do i need to put cylicone or a sealent or something 2 thanks?

I would find an aftermarket head that has the stay since your frame doesn't have an upper rear mount.

The quick change cover itself uses an oring. The actual side case needs a gasket or some type of sealant that is used in place of a gasket. If you use a sealant, apply a thin coat and allow it to cure for 10~15 minutes before installation on the motor.

I think we are confusing each other:(

I am now assuming that you are talking about the access cover for the quick change side case. Remove the cover and see if it is milled for an O-ring. If there is a groove milled for the o-ring you can probably find it locally. If not you can use a bead of permatex to seal the surfaces (let the bead cure for 10~15 minutes before installation).

If it needs o-rings apply vaseline to the o-ring so it will stay in place during installation.

I hope this helps.
