Engine disaster??????????

Ok i was racing the unadilla gncc wen all of the sudden my quad kinda died. i would kick it over and it would start but hardly the engine would spit and sputter but not rev enough to move. I relized the oil drain plug was gone so there was no oil in it and it was hot!!:( What would be the best route to take now to fix it, like what parts would be the first to go?? it is not seized. Its a 2004 honda 450r by the way.

take the motor appart and replace every bearing in it..... mic all the tranny gears and look for premature-wear inside..... rebuild the crank.... check all the valves and cams for marks....



the motor prolly doesnt wanna turn over beacuse the crank is about to seize

Tear down the engine. Check everything.

Also the 04 hondas do not have separate oil for the trannys do they???

Make sure the tranny is up to par as well.

they do have seperate oil for the clutch side and the engine side. but thanx for the advice guys
