im thinking about getting some too and i think i will because so far tusk has made good stuff at good prices and one step at a time proving that you can have a nice modded quad and not pay more than its worth for it, like how you got big name companies taking atvantage of the increasing growth of the sport we call atving names like fmf, yoshi, quadtech, dg to name a few i mean some atv performance stuff cost way more than car or truck performance stuff and to be honest that turns people away from the atv world and that is not cool and so my opinion is to go with tusk brakes and if they dont work out than at least your not out much money.

just my thoughts

im a racer and just dont want to have to worry about having my brakes go out in a race or have the brakes be weak.

I just got a set of rears and they had the most pad I have seen. I put two fast 35 mile loops of riding in thick mud. I have not checked them to see how much they wore. But I will tomorrow and I'll let you know.

I put a set on the rear of my son's bike back in the spring and they still have plenty of life in them

I checked them out today and they still have alot of life. They brake good, so far I would buy another set. I felt no adverse preformance.

I went through a pair in one race. I switched to DP brakes....I have gone through only 2 sets so far this year.

They might be ok for basic riding, but for rough conditions and mud and such, I would not reocommend them...if mud gets in there they seem to like to wear quickly.

I've used thier rotors on other quads and they were ok...
