I am not one to begin bashing a machine before anyone can even sling a roost with it, but I will bash the tight lipped bean counters who decided to NOT let us see any of the specs that matter!. Wheel travel, weight, width, etc.. C'mon and post up the specs!

I understand from what Kawasaki told the dealers it will be released in February, that is most likely why there are not more specs available. They still have over four months before production, so they are probably still in the final testing phase to set production specs. If that is the case many specs would not finalized.

I suppose they could give us specs now but they would most likely not be the exact specs that make it to production, so I am not sure how useful they would be. To design, test and produce an all new model takes a lot of time and money, they probably want to use as much time as they can leading up to flipping the switch on the production line to make sure it is where it needs to be, I doubt it has anything to do with purposely wanting to keep info from the public.

It will just be cool to see all the manufacturers in this class now. And from what the dealer said Kawasaki stated at the meeting, they are going to be back in racing, sounds like a win-win for all. We just need to be patient for a little longer.

I havent heard anything about other 450's, or even see concept art of them. I am interested in seeing them if anyone has any info. I knew that KTM would have a 450 out, and now that i think about it, Dinli had a 450 in the works that I saw in DW. What happened with that????

As far as the KAWI..........DDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMNNNN!!!!!!! That quad is super badazz!! Honda has the most potent engine out of the 3 IMO, and the Kawi specs are nearly identical to Hondas (depending on the Comp ratio.

Im really excited about it. Its gonna rip, and its hot looking, especially the black. I can only wonder what the MSRP will be, EFI, alum frame, E start, reverse.........gonna be the most expensive I bet.

for one thing the predator is far from ugly.the next thing i hope nobodys going to ride in the woods much cause 2.2 gallons isn't that much gas.i like how they give you the option to take off some fender length.for those to chicken to cut fenders its a life saver.now i whant to see what ktm/polaris has up there sleave for a 450.now that all the mane companys has one out i think they have a bit of an advantege.polaris better not let me down.i at least whant aluminum frame and efi.

Not sure on the Can-AM, but the KTM quads are a GO! Not just the new OUtlaw with the 525 motor either! Expect a new 525 from KTM followed bay a 450cc racer SOON!

The new GAS GAS is in ATVSPORT magazine this month! I'm from Minnesota, so I get my issue a little early! Like the west coast guys get DW Iguess!

The Gasser looks really nice and has things like Carbon Fiber Radiator Guards, EFI and SACHS suspension (IE MERCEDES)-very high quality!
The Gasser lost some weight and looks very AMERICAN 'er Japanese!

I forget where my CAN-AM info came from, but BRP is being very open about working on a 450 with their dealers. I believe they had a blurb about it at the recent dealer meeting! Hopefully soon, because they make some very solid products!

Kawi has gone a step farther then everyone with what they have here.. They out did the Suzuki from what I see in my book.... Can't wait to ride one..
