450r vs tecate 4 !!!!!!!!!!!!!! help

a guy down the road has a 88 tecate 4 with pipes filter reeds 7" exstended swingarm +3 a arms and +$ axle he wants to race my stock 450r strait drag and on a track who do you thank would win?

a tecate 4 is an old kawasaki 2 stroke.

it really depends on the length of the drag strip. i have beaten banshees before but the strip was only 300 feet, in the grass. he will womp on you if its much farther than that. if your decent rider, i think you guys will be close on the track.

The Tecate 4 was Kawasaki's answer to Suzuki's ltr 250r and Honda's Trx 250r in 1987. The Tecate is very rare. Goodluck beating him, those things rip.

Yeah the tecate is fast but not fast enough to beat a R. If you have a 06-7 you got him for sure 04-5 should still be faster. Alot will depend on rider.

I wouldn't bet on it.I have owned both and a mildly worked Tecate is fast.The Honda will easily out handle it though.

Newsflash,a well kept tecate 4 will smoke a 4fiddy...sorry to be the bearer of bad news.They turned great but the suspension action was horrible.

I could have had one for like $200!!!!! I never had the chance to drive 3 hours to go get it tho... :(

It should be pretty close but I think the 450r will take it in a short drag!
