LRD makes no mention of frames on thier site. any other ideas?

you may have to just call them. but from what i heard, the aluminum frame isnt any better than a chromoly frame. they had to use a much thicker tubing to make it strong, which added weight, making it relly not weigh any less thanother frames. plus it was fairly rigid

32 lbs for the lrd aluminum frame.. I think they cost too much and didn't sell enough to keep producing

Most chromoly frames weight like 35lbs I think, so there's no real advantage to the LRD. I've heard bad things myself.

my friend had one, he cracked it twice and to get it fixed you have to tear down the whole bike, weld the frame and then re-heat the frame. He got rid of it for a lsr no-link frame.

Why would a rec rider buy an aftermarket frame in the first place? I agree with most everything you say though.
