400ex smoking.

My 05 stock 400ex will smoke a liitle on cold start up. The quad has probably 15-20 hrs max. I just changed the oil about 5 hours ago and used the Honda GN4 10-40w (and yes, I double checked the level and it's not overfilled). The smoke appears to be light grey. Is this quad burning oil? It seems like low hours to have valve seal problems. It seemed like this started after the oil change. Should I be concerned?

Any mods done to it? I think white smoke means lean jetting??? Not sure.

It is completely stock, no mods

i posted in ur other 1. if your using your choke its common 2 see smoke when u hit the throttle a few times after u start it. it should go way in a few mins after the quaDS warmed up and cleard out. nothing to worry about.

Yeah smoking during startup with the choke is common,all my atvs and bikes do this.

Heres what happens. While your bike sits, the oil leaks into somewhere (not sure where) and when your bike starts up, it burns the oil that was leaked into the case(i think thats it).
