i have a stock 400ex and am about to put a pro circuit t-4 slip on pipe on it before the race this weeknd. jsut wanted to know if i wil have to change the jetting?

Most definitly. Your engine will be breathing a lot easier so the jetting will have to be changed.

ya, shelve the airbox lid and try a 152 main and a 40 or 42 pilot

would it be possible for me to jsust get it close to being right by just turning the fuel screw out a little bit? i am running the unadilla gncc this saturday and i dont get out of work till 9:00 tonight and dont have any jets to change it with. i wil be leaving my stock airbox lid and filter on until after this race. also with a t-4 slip on with no quiet core or spark arrestor do you think they will let me race with it? thanks a lot for the help.

if u leae the lid on, u should be alright, but u won't be getting all ur power. definately jet it when u get the chance.

bring the quiet core qith u and have the bike tested long enough before the race that u can put them in if nescessary. i think it should be fine though. they read in at 102dec. without the quiet core

yeh i understand i wont be getting the fullpower but next week im getting a new filter so i figured id jsut do it all at once.. the problem is i bought this pipe used off my friend for bout 30.00 because he had no use for it but he did not have the wuiet core so thats kinda out of the question. is it likely that they will test me at the race or is it mandatory that they test everyone.
