ENGINE Help

hey ! This might sound stupid, but I think something may be wrong with my engine, So can you click the link and listen to it and see if it sounds odd.

what do you think is wrong? I dont think it is the valves.
Any professionals opinions greatly appreciated.

could you give us some more info on it? what is it doing when you ride it? how does it idle?rev? what mods have you done to it?what has every1 else said to you? if you tell us that then maybe me/some1 can tell you...?

sounds like a real loud tivking. Are u sure it not the valves

ok, I notice it only when in an idle.
It usually doesn't do it when cold, only after I've be riding awhile
Only mods include a K&N Filter/ precharger
It sounds like a knock,knock, knock,knock
The only opinions I've got are the one's in this forum
It seems to rev fine
It seems like each gear is topping out too early (causing me to shift more). I find myself riding in mid 4th when if feels i should be in mid 3rd
I have had no engine work or any engine mods at all , this is an 01' 300ex
I don't even ride it hard

SOunds like it needs the valves adjusted. If not that, then I dunno....idle stopper? Maybe it should be a tad bit higher?

my bike does it sometimes,....but it doesnt do it constantly like that.

this happend to me now that i think about it on my X take it to the shop (the only people that will be able to tell you...:blah )they will prob. say that you need a new cam rocker arms valves and springs. i had to replace all this on mine and it ran perfect after that. it is an easy do it your self job, it shouldnt take more than 3 hours if you know kinda what you are doing i could have it done in about 1hr now that i have riped into mine so many times... just my.02
