all stock steering stems the same

can someone please tell me if all the stock 450r stems are the same from the 04 model up to the 07 model?

my buddy needs one and he has a 07 model

Im in a similar situation. I broke my stem in a crash last weekend. A forum brother is hooking me up w/new take-off 06 parts (I have a 06). But, I did find a bunch of 04-05 stems on Epay. One seller says that the stems are the same from 04-07. I would check w/dealer B4 you buy. Tell your buddy to check the stem bearing/seals as well. Good luck

According to servicehonda.com, the part numbers are:

04/05 - 53310-HP1-600
06/07 - 53310-HP1-000

If they were the same, I would think Honda would have just used the same part number...but who knows?:confused:
