Im new here and new to quads really. Just got a 04 TLD predator and I'm just wondering what's the best way to remove all the decals and stickers. I dont really like the stock decals and I know I wanna get rid of the warning stickers.
My plan is to leave the plastics black and powdercoat the wheels black too. I think it would look good with everything black and the hubs and seat orange?? Maybe?

Just peel them off, and if there is any sticky residue left, just spray some ether or gas on a rag and wipe off the residue (the ether and gas will not hurt the plastic).

Well, I tried peeling some of them off but it was a PITA. I was hoping there was an easier way to do it....
There is a product called Goo-Gone. You can probably get it at Wal-Mart. It can work some wonders :macho

That's what I was asking...:ermm:
I know that some stickers are easier to get off by using a hair dryer. I was just wondering if anyone knew of an easier way to get them off. Thanks for the help though.

get your moms or wifes (dont know how old you are) hair dryer and heat the stickers a lil then peel them off. the heat helps them come off.
after you get the sticker off if it is sticky then use some WD-40 and a rag and spray on plastic and wipe it off, use rubbing achochol is your going to put on new stickers.
good luck

Just peel it off, use Kerosene to remove the remaining adhesive.

wow 4,000 PSI thats unreal , I'm sure that worked great LOL.
What I said does work I have done it many times. Also works if the stick is on glass or anything else.

bad thing about it is I didn't mean to rip them off :(
It will also rip your seat and cut the plastic if you are to close :/

Just peal the stickers off.
For the hard to get off stickers use a hair dryer.
I use starting fluid to get the residue off.

just peel it off, then use paint thinner to remove the residue. use a little bit at a time, a small amount goes a long way.
