Has anyone seen the video of the guy who put wheels on skidoo and drove it arround town on the streets. I herd of it but cant find it.

please help me find it!

actually they do still run a ski, it just has wheels built into it...i've seen a lot of them beating street bikes down the quarter mile.http://www.off-road.com/snowmobile/reviews/2001/racesuspension/Opening-Photo.jpg

every sled at our drag strip always has faster times then the streetbikes.

some of those beefed up sleds do pretty good in the 1/4

Depending on the model , most will run 11s or so . I've seen a few run 8s and 9s.

Ya that guy was running mid 8s with his sled . 190+ MPH in the 1/4 mile . :devil:

My uncle had one of the fastest sled in Canada in the early 90s .... nitrous and all !!!:p

i'v seen the video your talkin about, he weaves threw traffic and all that illigal stuff lol, it was threw downtown too. i tried findin it but couldn't

i know the vid, he rides through a foreign city on a polaris edge with wheel setup. i WISH my area just got alittle bit more snow than we do because i love sleds. i just cant get over the fact that i would have to sell my year round toy for a ride 1/4 of the year toy. every time i see a sled this winter its going to tear me up

There was 2 sleds at cecil county in Maryland running 9.2, 9.3's absolutely amazing

I would say a sled is faster than a bike because, its an automatic and gos instantly. You can't just dump the clutch on a street bike like a quad.
