Scratch that.

Everyone has white now (or atleast around me does), go black. Personally, I think black plastics are awesome.

If you want the paint to stick, you can sand the plastics down and then put the Krylon on. It'll stick then. But...it'll make your red plastics look pink if you ever decide to take the Krylon off. The only thing that will take off Krylon is constant rubbing, gas, or high powered washer (took one that ran off diesel to get my friends Krylon off)

save your money and buy them later, it doesnt matter how your quad looks it matters how it runs. my plastics are stiched together and scrathed to piss. im waiting for winter when i have money to get plastics. i think your quad looks good the way it is right now though.

Mine didnt look to bad when I painted them, I wouldnt do it on your's just because your plastics look really good on your bike..

If you do go through with it, when they start to look kinda shabby, sand it with 300-400 and spray them again it's a bitoch to keep the white clean :p

That's the color my friend chose for his 400ex. He had problems with around the gas tank and at the edges (trail rider). He didn't spend but 5 minutes to make it look good as new respraying it.

If you want to try it out I would just paint you hood or something. I would never paint the whole entire plastic

I ordered some white rear fenders for mine, and my front ones didnt come in in time for a race, so I painted them with krylon fusion. I may have just prepped it wrong but by the end of my practice I had rubbed a lot off with my knees. I would just wait to buy plastics. Yours looks good like it is, and if you dont like it you couldnt really to get it to look the same.
