raptor carb options

my buddy has a '01 raptor and the carbs keep bouncing out of the manifolds. i took off the air box, then the carb-box boots and pushed the carbs forward as hard as i could as he tightened them and they still fell off. he bought new factory manifolds, same problem still.

i found the edelbrock carb kit to convert to a single carb and it seems like it will solve all of his problems and increase some performance as well. if this a good idea or is there a better single carb kit to use on a raptor?

no bad idea edlebrock carb is to small you should go with a edelbrok intake with 48mm lectron carb or 39mm fcr carbs

this is a completely stock raptor aside from k&n filter and an exhaust system on its way. would a 48mm lectron really be the way to go? is there any other carb that i could get like a big fcr or something?
