Dude, either role to the finish and cross when the race is over so that you can atleast get last place points, or try to borrow a rear shock from somebody.

I rode about 3 laps w/ a blown rear shock, and the rear of the quad would litterally just bounce up when you hit a jump, and it made for some scary landings. I was SOOOOOOO squirly everywhere. It's definitely not very safe. It could be done, but don't even hint that you're getting lazy, or you'll endo and do a nice little face plant in the ground.

ya go to the race but just be careful. try to save up to purchase a new shocks or have the old one fixed(if its a rear shock). i wouldnt recommend doing any big jumps though.

I think you should be fine just land perfect on all the other jumps and roll over the big one I blew out my rear not to a couple months ago.

it will feel real springy and it wont absorb at all it will just bounce.

mine had fluid all over the rear skid plate and had no constantcy through the travel.

Man I hope I don't blow my shocks. And I'm starting to hit big jumps now.

If your rear shock is blown, you won't have to ask yourself it is or not. You WILL know, because it will feel like one of those toy dirtbikes, where you can push the rear down and let it go and it springs up real fast. Mine is ALL spring. Pretty much a portable, $7,000 trampoline.

Sick0 - your rear shock is probably just worn out. The shocks don't last forever, and the fluid in it is probably very thin and "burned up". It's probably time to get them rebuilt.

I didn't think it was blown because it's not leak or anything. But I think your right about it being a little worn. I have abused the quad in the last year.

ESR250R - Yes, I blew out my rear shock :grr . I didn't have any hard landings when I did it, but it might have been "on edge" after I had a pretty bad wreck the week before. I'm not sure though, since I don't know what happened (I was knocked unconscious). That Ohlin's rear shock is one helluva shock, so I think a helluva impact must have happened. This gives me a nice excuse to take it easy, let me foot heal (I think I have a small hairline fracture from that wreck), and get my Cannibal set up better for MX. So far my plans are, Houser +3 a-arms, Lonestar +4 axle, get my rear shock rebuilt, get my front shocks rebuilt to fit the Housers, dual rate w/ piggy back rezzies, HMF exhaust w/ moto remapping, and Silver plastics w/ carbon fiber headlight delete covers. How's that sound?

I'll be out of racing for qite a while because of this, so if any of yall know of places where I can get some good deals, let me know. I figure I will need about $2500 +/- to get all this done.

I have stock Honda wheels and they make the front end narrower than the stock Cannondale wheels, so I decided to go w/ the +3 a-arms instead of the +2's. Also, I've never seen a +6 axle.

I think if you used a 6plus axle you would be over the limit for mx. I know for the 400ex you would if you have offste rims.
