Well,since my quad got hijacked, a freind took me riding in the Sam Houston National Forest yesterday . Me , on a 04 yz250f and my freind on a 05 yz450f. This was my first time going trail riding in a forest but all i can say is WOW. What an experience. We rode for 3 hours and never hit the same trail twice.
Now that it is the day after it feels as though i had been hit by a truck. twice!!! It was an awsome time and now i have a new respect for those GNCC guys.
My arse feels like i have been riding a 2x4 for hours and my arms and back are sore as hell but i am ready for more.

id much rather go on a trip out in the woods and long trails them a MX track anyday

I can't speak to MX too much, but GNCC is brutal.

And they ride the same circuit 5 or 6 laps, with 1,000 bikes going over it.

Get's pretty snotty and chewed up.

you were riding a yfz....no wonder your sore.

but it does really beat you up. i have riden for 8 hours on trails and i am still not as beat up as 2 hours racing. racing beats you up so much more.

no,yz250f dirt bike,i have never been in the woods on a quad ....YET!!! I am looking to get one so i can build a gncc quad.

yea i know its like once you race or ride as hard as you can for a long period of time you get so tired its not even funny!!! i went to mountain ridge just taking my time and that and wasnt tired and yesterday i was up my cousins riding trails in the woods for an hour and im dead, i need to get my firewire port working so i can get the video up
