how much difference will I notice between 20 inch rear tires and 18 inch rears for motocross racing on a yfz?

These would be slight changes

Pros: Better Acceleration, Should handle better.

Cons: Rougher ride, Easier to bend rims

if your on a smooth track 18's will be fine. rutted up and rough alot of people use 19's.


you will notice a HUGE difference in the 20's to 18's some you will like some you wont.

18's spin faster...could mean better accel could mean most spinning.

20's absorb more shock....but they also roll alot more.

most 20's don't have mx style treads...so they won't grip like an mx tire is designed to.
