air box with no link?

Ive got a lsr no link setup, curretnly i have a stock airboot and then the filter is basically ziptied to the sub frame, id really like to get it in a box,

so with the no link setup i need to modify the box, move it up and back and use an LT500 airboot??

here is what i use. I cut the top part of the box off where the seam is and put a piece of 4" PVC over the one side for the LT500 boot to clamp, it fits perfect. My caliper still nails the air box when I bottom out though, I plan on making an aluminum box this winter.

What kind of frame/shock length/swingarm are you using?
