Is Astoria riding area closing?

As anyone else heard anything else about this? I was planning on going down the 9-23 but I heard that had too much of an insurance liability so they are having to close down. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated, that way I am not wasting gas going down there.

I always call ahead, especially in the fall as they shut down for hunting seasons

I ended up not going, but I know a few guys who did and it was open.
