Anyone else have trouble selling a 400ex?

I've had no luck selling my low hour mint 99 400ex, anyone on here know of anyone looking for one in central NY? $2600 or BO, includes works shocks, AC stadium bumper, billet twin row bearing carrier, aftermarket skids, and possibly some other extras.

well u can get an 00- 03 for 2600. its hard 2 get what u want an it bin a 99 yea its old but in good shape but people would jus buy the 01 or w.e 4 that.

im having hell selling mine i just want to get rid of it so i can pay off my truck its a 04 with another 3 year warannty on it i was a 3600 now im prob askin 3000 for it has brand new tires front and back new exhaust nerfbars and uni air filter and ya it sucks i cant sell mine

I know the year is killing it, if you didn't know what year it is you'd think its an 05, it really is that nice. I'm looking to sell the machine because I hardly ever ride it.

Market seems to be hit or miss for EX's. I just went through the buying process for an '05. Many that I looked at were in the $4500 range and were beat on pretty bad. I found and bought a like new '05 that still had the little "hairs" on the tires, extended warranty until 2/2009, nerfs, and an AC front bumper for $3500. The competition is stiff and there are a lot of great deals out there right now on newer quads.

Yea i couldnt get calls on my 05 400 for anything and its clean and not beat on at all.. kept going down in price forever until i finally realized i might as well sell it to my brother back home for 2500... but the good thing about that is ill get to ride it just as much because I never rode down here, only back home when i was there form college, so i have more money and get to ride just as much, woo hoo...

That thing does look really nice.I got a buddy of mine that won't quit bugging me to sell him my 99 for $2500 so I know you could sell it eventually but its hard to when you can get a newer one for cheaper.

No one wanted my 2002 and it was almost race ready. The shop would have gave me $3500 for it in 2004
