Ok its been about 1 and a half years since i drove my 400ex. What do i need to do? Is the oil still fine? I know i need to tighten my rear hubs to the axle. THey keep coming lose! I do not want to hurt the engine at all so all tips would be helpful thanks!

Its probably gonna tak awhile to start, when it finally does let it idel and rev it for about 10 minutes, dont give it hell just rev it. I doubt you really need to tighten anything if its just been sitting there, and when you 1st start it it'll probably smoke briefly, as for the oil im not really sure, but id go ahead and do it anyways just to be safe. (sorry if you already started it up, if you did most of my info is useless lol)

did you run the carburater dry before u put it away the last time?
ir not you need to get the old gas out and put fresh in and clean the carburater because it is gummed up. and definatlly change the oil.
good luck!

drain out the old gas, put in new gas, drain oil, out in new oil, the carb might have some dirt in it so you might want to clean it. check the airfilter it will probably need cleaning, tire pressure.

you shouldn't need to change the oil unless it was due when you parked it. oil breaks down from heat and time being run, not sitting. allthought new oil is cheap to do and then you know its good. i'd make sure the battery is fully charged, new gas, clean the carb and make sure the airfilter is good and clean. and use the choke because you'll need it!
good luck;)
