I got a 96 300ex and was wondering if boring it will help it any
I want to have more plower in bottom. end and top end and was wondering if I could get that with a 330 kit. I want to keep up with a 400ex on a track.I do real good for a pretty much stock 300ex but, I still want more power.I kept up with a banshee once
on a track but he wasn't that much of a racer.

well, obviously a 330 kit will help the power, and usually a piston will help more w/ bottom end, and a cam will help all over or mainly mid-top depending on what kind. I have the 330 in mine and it will whoop up on stock and piped 400's on the track.

I'm with EXracer8601all the money you sink into making 300ex's faster you could have went and bought a 400 and save yourself some time

yes buying a 400 would be good.but if you really want to have a fast 300 the 330 is the way to go. i think in drt wheels they tested one made by fourstroke tech and everything they did to it was like $1000

i love honda, but if you are about racin get a cannondale, more power than a 440ex all you'll need to buy is shocks
