what all damage can come from a four wheeler back firing cause my yfz is doing it when i slow done at a high rpm and when i start off fast it shoots small flames out then they get sucked back in

nahh its only the unburnt fuel being lit nd fires out of your exhaust, not hurting the motor

Sounds like the jetting is too lean. That can damage the motor if severe enough.

my yfz backfires too when i back down off of high rpms..i've rejetted a bunch of times and nothing solves it and my motor is in great shape so i wouldn't worry too much about it..................and i was just wondering where gpracer2500 got that sweet animation icon...lol
check your header stud nuts to see if they are loose because if there’s an air leak between your header and the head it will cause back firing.
i speak from experience!
