As for what quad to buy...I would recomend the LT-R...but I think your friend is smoking when he said they come geared really high...

yea that YFZ needs a hug... did anyone else notice the duct tape on the hood or w/e over the race #?

the YFZ really is not in that bad of condition. So the owner took a picture of it dirty...I've done the same, doesnt mean I dont take care of my quads....

way to over react everybody!

the front tires look bald, the plastics look beat, theres a gap between them on the right side, and its probably got rust on it.
its got a pipe and beadlocks, thats the only nice stuff, a new quad would be well new, and probably more reliable, and the money you would need to spend on tires could be money for a cherry bomb and money towards nerfs.

My point is, if that's his "sales" picture.. what does it look like when he's not trying to sell it.. lol. The grime on the frame looks like it's been there a while. It doesn't look fresh. Oily grime.

I would wager money on the fact that the guy's probably never even repacked his bearings.

And that doesn't just look like a few rides worth of mud built up.
That looks like years of burnt on crap on that engine.
My engine doesn't get BLACK like that, ever.

looks like it has a aftermarket swingarm, possibly aftermarket a arms, a anti-vibe stem, with rear steel braided brake lines

mx1791

yea, thats not a stock swing arm, maybe extended, but the a arms look stock, there square on top like stocks ones, but idk for sure

ya, thats not a good "sales" pic for sure but you guys do realize that these are offroad machines and they are going to get dirty and beat up. it always amazes me when somebody spends 6grand or more on a new sport quad then babies it to keep it looking pretty? if you ride'm like there designed for, they will get beat up, theres no way around it!

yea but wouldnt you rather have a new quad that you can beat up, knoing wut your doin to it, you never kno wut someone did to there bike before you had it

well atleast if you get the yfz, you kno there reliable, the frames dont crack and wut not, if you get a good enough deal on it, just go for it, and yfz's have nice power too

I have beat mine for the entire season and the only problem I had was an air lock in my radiator...and that was becuase my coolant over flow emptied out and it sucked air in-my fault.
