I recently purchased a Hot Seat Pipe for my sons Predator. Just waiting for delivery. Has anyone else used this pipe and what were your results. If you have had negative results can you suggest something better, its not to late to return it and try something else. Also does anyone have any insight on jetting and clutching for this pipe(a clutch kit was also purchased). I m in Utah at an average elevation of about 5000 ft. This bike currently has an FMF pipe with a 110 main in the stock carb.

We ran a Hotseat pipe a couple of years ago and had nothing but problems with it. I dont know if they have improved them any or not. We have run a Hetrick pipe since and it has been very good. Also if you bought their clutch kit you will lose the kick start unless they have change it. The jetting sounds about right but I would do a plug check to make sure. You will also need to get a CDI that does not have a rev limiter. I have a spare Hetrick pipe for sale if you are interested. It has a small dent in the silencer but it doesnt hurt the performance any.
