I posted a thread here a while back about installing a cam or a piston, i forget which but someone told me to remove springs or something, what do i remove?

I remember now, i have to remove the plunger and spring.

its the stock decompresion unit, with an aftermarket cam you take it out, BUT SAVE IT. because if you ever want to go back to a stock cam the stock cam wont run without it.

yes, depending on what cam you run in the bike you may or may not use that spring and plunger.
