I'm thinkin the next time i go to the honda dealer i'm gonna buy some jets to jet my bike. I have a white bros slip-on and I want to run all the disks plus the s/a and a filter too what filter is the best for the money, it's for a 400ex. Should i buy my jets at the honda dealer or a whole set from rocky mountain or something like that. sorry for the long post.

If i were u i would buy the jets seperatly cuz u will save money. As for the filter i would get the filter that suits ur riding conditions. IF u ride in a wet, muddy, or dusty area then i would get a foam filter. If u ride dunes or a place with out alot of water and mud then i would get a k&n. All foam filters are about the same so it doesnt matter the brand.

Get a UNI or similar foam filter. K&Ns don't like dusty conditions.

so what size jets and setup would i need for a uni filter and running 12 disks with s/a.

A 150 Keihin or 152 Keihin should be about right. You shouldn't have to pay more than $4-5 for each one.

Site sponsor C&D Racing sells individual jets;)

If you replace the needle and pilot too, your better off buying a jet kit.You should be alright with just a bigger main,if you start popping or backfiring on decelleration i would open up the fuel screw a bit.;)

If your jetting is currently stock then adding the filter and using the E-series will most likely require rejetting.

I wouldn't worry about the needle but upping the pilot to a 40 or 42 may be beneficial.

Do the jet kits come with pilot jets?
