I just bought a new 07 400, and was wondering what would be a decent pipe for low end power. I just trail ride so i dont need a cool looking pipe just power. Im gonna drop a tooth on the sprocket also.

What octane do you run ? I have been running 93. Some guy told me he runs regular 87, but my old bike didnt like it.

Hmm, i suggest a hmf or white brothers e-series pipes, maybe even a yoshimura, and im pretty sure octane is good enough.

well if money isnt an object go for a full hmf system or a full yoshimura system. both are 400 bucks and are pretty equal. if cash is an issue get a hmf slip-on for 200-250 from www.worldwideperformance1.com or the full system from them is 400-450 and the yosh is 400 for the full system from www.rockymountainatvmc.com

Lotta different pipes, its just a matter of opinion when it comes to that. As for octane I use to run 87, now i'm starting to go to 89+. I try to run 93 everytime but not everywhere I go has it so I settle for 89.

Thanks for the advice fellas. Money isnt really a problem and i dont mind paying the price for something but, I hate to waste two weeks of work on junk, but like you said they are all pretty good. I think a sllip on will do the trick. I dont need the chrome pipes and all that.
