View Full Version : why is my 400ex so hard to push in gear?

when my 400ex is in gear and i pull the clutch in it is hard to push. much harder then in nuetral. can you tell me why this is? does something need to be greased? adjusted?

you may need to adjust the slack in your clutch cable

Be careful, the clutch will last much longer with some slack in the cable. When you start pulling the slack out of the cable it will tend to slip some in your high gears causing premature wear.

I just got the 400s because I was tired of spending all my time working on the Rs. BTW the wife does ride, she got 5th at Loretta Lynn’s GNCC. So there is two of us tearing stuff up.

can u post some pics of u i wanna see all these quads i bet they are sweet quads if shes ranked that hight at lorrettas. tell her i said congrats on the good place. man us guys better watch out for these fast *** girl riders.

She is fast but keep in mind that she raced the woman’s class. I will get some pics before I sell anything.
