Polaris needs a 450 pred!

Just imagine a 350 pound Polaris Predator 450 fuel injected w/ reverse. It would be the ultimate xc bike. Wow my mouth is watering. Polaris needs to get there asses in gear and update there line with this bad boy.

I thought the 07 Preds were supposed to be 450's, but apparently I am wrong, according to Polaris' website. I had heard about it somewhere.

no 350 lb predator with the ktm motor, only has to be 450 for mx.

bout the closest thing we are gonna get (for now anyways) is the 510 Outlaw. that in itself should be pretty interesting though.

I am just curious why everybody is so hung on a 450 Pred for XC. I can see maybe a 52" wide 450 fuel injected pred for motorcross but the 525 Outlaw will be the machine for XC. I heard from a reliable source that a guy at Yamaha said that he was glad that Polaris came out with the IRS in a sport quad because now they could do it. What the heck? He went on to say that there was too much of a stigma attachted to IRS as being for slow machines.

I was told the pred will be dropped to a KTM 450cc motor sometime in 08 at the local polaris shop. Maybe chadhix will let us know. Its to early to tell what kid of power it will have.

for mx maybe, but how would having double the suspension travel hurt a xc quad?:rolleyes:

In all the time I've been on here you have yet to post anything even remotely related to the topic. If you're so secure in your purchase then why do you hang out on the POLARIS forum?:rolleyes: Seems to me you're afraid of a little compretition, it's easy enough to be an internet racer but you've been called out by more than a few people on here and you always find a reason to change the subject.
