He's talking about K&N oil filters not air filters.

I can't see how an internal oil filter would impact running temperatures.

Haha, my bad. I misread it thinking he meant the oil for a filter.

Can't say I'd think any oil filter would help an engine cool down either.

i use them. i can't tell a difference but i have used k&n oil filters and air filers on all my vehicles so i thought i would treat my bike to it also.

yea i didnt think it would but someone on hear said it made the quad run cooler. just a bunch of bull$hit i guess haha

with the 20w 50 and the kn filter mine runs a little cooler. not that much. it is more like, it doesn't ever overheat.
