when pushing down on the front suspension there is a horrible squeaking noise that sounds like it is coming from the A-arms. Any help troubleshooting the problem would be appreciated.

just put wd-40 on the bushings (on each end of the shock) or even motor oil, worked for me

on the pivots do not use wd-40 the stuff has a purpose and it is not for bearing and races, use automotive style grease and ot will fix the problem. wd-40 traps grits and acts like sand paper and in a season of riding youll be wondering why your front end is loose. do it the right way: disasseble, clean, lube(with grease),assemble

Stay away from WD-40 on many things on your quad. WD-40 is a de-greaser. If you put it on it will get rid of the sound for about 10 min. but will get rid of the grease which will cause the bearings/bushings to die very fast. Just take a tooth brush and some soapy water and clean your shocks real good. I had the saem sound until i cleaned them up really well. It did come back but i don't think it is possible to totally stop the noise.

I'd say tear your entire front end apart. Grease every single bushing with a good amount of grease (a-arm bushings & shock bushings).
Apply grease to all the metal to metal bolts so they wont freeze up too (on the calipers, spindels, a-arm ball joints and tie-rod ball joints).
then your front end will be much smoother, not squeeky at all, and the bolts wont ever get frozen.
Do this about every year-2 years depending on your type of riding

WD-40 is something you dont wana use on ANY part of you quad, except to get rust off of something. And I'd rather use Starret M-1 to do that with.
