Alright I'm buying a 2006 450eR this weekend for about $6000 otd, is there anything special I should suggest when I have them service it? type of oil, gas, lube, oil filter, ect?

I plan on doing the Motoman break in process and modifying it with some bolt ons shortly after..

If anyone has any suggestions or input on buying a new 450, I would appreciate it

I would use HP4 honda oil, and honda shop oil filters. And get some bel-ray chain lube, and wash it after you ge it dirty. Keep an eye on your chain so you don't end up throwing you chain when your in 4th gear rapped out. Tears stuff up.

Never EVER give it any gas when you go to start it. if you ride in the cooler weather, put a 45 pilot in that thing. very lean from factory. pm me if you would like some ideas on jetting mine runs and starts like a champ KNOW.
