I know there are plenty of threads on this site about jets, but I have a terminology question. I have the service manual and am going to re-jet the carb for the new exhaust and K&N, but the service manual doesnt use the term "pilot jet" exactly...... is that in reference to the "slow jet"? ....... yeah, i'm not smart enough to know the terms, but I am smart enough to get it adjusted. ;-)

yes, the slow jet is also know as the pilot jet

Cool! Thanks for that......... So if I change my main jet and change the slow jet.............. is that going to be all i need to swap out? or do I need to swap out a new needle jet and adjust the clip on the needle? I've searched the posts, and what I read was that a 42 slow and a 158 main were the popular combos for my intake filter and pipe.....
