Hey, i was wondering how fast a 250x went stock. How much faster would an exhaust system a k&n air filter would make it go. Thanks, this info would be really helpful.

mine aint stock but it'll run 67 on a rader gun.

ive hit 70 running beside a truck, its faster now cause i just got ot bpred .060 over so ill prob hit about 75 to 80 depending on when my limiter kicks in but a stocker wil run i think 45 mph but i could be wrong...

No, A 250X does faster than that stock.it does about 53-55 stock.

a 300EX, and a 250X are exactly the same(same stock hearing)
But a 300 is bored/ stroked more, and the 250X is lighter.

yea he right. there the same quad but the stroke on a 300 is 60 mm and its only 56 mm on an X

:huh 80MPH? Are you sure because i have never even seen a 400EX do 80.

never seen a 400 do 80? one of my buddies races flat track and he has been clocked at over 90 on a half mile track, and its not even topped out then. And for what its worth, i clocked my 300 before i got the 330( had cam, piston, springs, ported) and it only did around 72-73, so i not so sure a pretty well stock 250x will do 80.

I dont know much abt the 250X maybe it can do 80. Thats crazy.

b 4 i had my 400 i had an 87 250x and because of the short stroke it didnt have as much torque on the bottom as comp to the 300 but with the hotter cam it revved more and also had higher comp piston. there fore making it faster. if a stock x raced a stock 300ex the 250 would win every time. (with ridders of the same skill)

my 300 went 60 tapped on a road. i was rideing by a truck and thats what the guy said. but **** 80??? my unclse grizzly got like 70 maybe if not more

im running 14 and 32 gearing to and mid top cam so that is why i said that

you cannot do 80 on a 250 im sorry i have ran 14 34 with 22 inch tires and only did 63.1 mph on a gps and they are fairly accurate s im not sure how every one is getting 70 and 80 mph cause that would have to be with probly a 15 up front and 32 rear with 22 inch tires just for 70 mph

o and i forgot to add boring does not make it go faster it will make it get to the top speed faster many people think you will get about 10mph off boring you wont

My 250x Does 105mph.... I Have 20/30 Gearing & 34" Tires On it :huh :p

20/30 gearing:huh :huh :huh how in the world did you get a 20 on the c/s i can hardly fit a 14 i got maybe a 1/4 inch between the chain and the case. you must have dont some serious case mods???...later

oh yea i didnt say for sure how fast it would go because i havent even got to run it to top speed yet i could be wrong ill let you know if i dont sale it...

Alright , I Have To Admit I Do Know How To Make a 250x Go 105. First Get Yourself A Loading Ramp & Either A: Put It In The Back Of A Truck & Go Down A Hill At Full Open Throttle Till Speedo Hits 105 , Wallah..... Or, 2: Place Ramp Overlooking A Nice 200'-300' Cliff....Push Or Drive Wheeler (Your Choice , This Is One Of Those Things Where If You Really Want To Go Faster.... Add Weight Not Subtract It :p ) & I Guarentee... You Will Hit The Bottom, I Mean Hit 105mph. :huh :devil
