fronts black, rear red. ;) besides the outer rings are changeable,so if you ever decide you dont like the color ,get dif. rings.I think they're like 25.00 bucks?(each)just I.M.O.

Black. The reds fade into pink after a while.

Black...because they come with the wheels the colored rings are a seperate cost plus they fade out bad

ya i am runnin red front black rear and I love the look, I would put a pic up but this things bein dumb.

my red ones havent faded in over a year and a half since i bought them now.

Yes, FINALLY lol Thanks for asking. It was indeed the piston rings. Runs great now. Only problem is there is a ticking noise. Im prolly due to check the valves. Or maybe its just the Hotcam-S2? Im not sure, but it runs good so who knows.

And thanks for all the comments guys. I think im going to go with black:)

Glad to hear everything is squared away. Definitely check your valves often with the Hot Cams Stage 2...they are a little harder on the valve train than the OEM cam :) SHIM it ;)

red would look really good imo, but its up to you, its your quad. black looks good but it doesnt stand out as much

the black rings are truly carbon fiber like the wheels. The red ones aren't really carbon fiber.

probably doesn't matter but I thought I would let you know.
