CR250 boot?

My sister has a 86 R that little by little we have been fixing up...well tonight I got a used airbox & a used 250R boot..after installing them on the R...the boot comes up short 1" 1/4 to reach the carb boor...motor side..on a nothe rpage some one told me that it might be a CR250 intake boot....has any one else had this issue?

Yes, that is a short cr250 boot. The 250r boot is about 1/2- 3/4 of an inch longer.
