What are you using for the turbo? What about brackets? What will drive the turbo?

well a turbocharger is driven by exhaust gasses. finding a small turbo that would spool up quick enough ans still put out some boos will be hard ot find and at the end of the day you still are working with a 300ex. low tech 2 valve air cooled engine. the time money and anger it will cause you isn't worth it IMO.

and you say "looking for intersect" i think you mean intrest:confused:

Aye,
The 300ex & 250x are a 4-valve single cam. The 350x was a 2-valve.

A turbo would be a waste of money on a 300ex. The turbo would cost more than the quad is worth. ;)

I wouldn't buy a turbo from someone that cant even spell interest...nor make a decent post that is worth of attention...

There's a lot more isses with adding a turbo to the 300ex than adding a turbo.

How do you plan on equalizing pressure in the fuel tank and carburator so that fuel doesn't jsut squirt out of the venting lines, or stop fuel form entering the carb all together due to increased pressures in the intake path without sacrificing the overflow capabilities that are required in an off-road machine. (you're gonna need EFI).

Is your turbo going to require a cooler, or is it getting sufficent cooling another way?

I could keep going...

NoS is really the only economically viable solution for the 300ex. Not logical.. but economicaly viable.. lol.

My mistake!:o I was thinking of a supercharger for some reason while I was typing.

i just thought it will be something different and they have a turbo kit for a raptor and a 400ex so it is possible.but yea there is alot of things that you have to look in to to make it work right . h

There is a company that makes a turbo charger for the 400ex. The 400ex is basically the same kind of engine design as a 300ex. Wonder how they got it to work??

you have to make it fuel injection which will tke for ever to tune to the motor

Back in the day in like 2000 or 2001, Dirtwheels featured a 400ex that was fitted with a whole custom HKS setup. Turbo, intercooler, and blow off valve. It didint have fuel injection, i think they used a small low pressure fuel pump. Im not sure but i think thats what they used, along with a few other peices but i cant remember that far back. It didnt make but like 40 something hp on a stock motor. More work than what its worth if u ask me.:ermm:
