Painting Plastic. Pro Design Kill Switch

Well i have a Pro Design kill switch. It is red.. Any way i can paint it withought it chipping?? sand it, then paint it? someone help please.. would anyone want to trade my red one for a black or blue one?? thanks

I think if you'd clean it, tape it, and spray paint it using normal spray paint...it should hold up fine...the biggest problem with painting fenders is because they flex and bouncing n get hit with a lot of rocks and chunks of dirt and mud. the killswitch will get hit, but not as often, so it should be fine...

just do a couple coats and let it dry completely...

should i do prime, blue .clear.. or just blue then clear?

i meant clean it, but yea, tape up all the wires and insides and **** anyway...

if you want...I would just get some spray blue if thats what you wanna use and do it with that, but hey if you wanna throw a coat or 2 of clear on, go ahead. Just make sure the clear is the same type of paint as the color, or it'll bubble and turn out bad.

sell it and buy a new one...their only like 25 bux...if uve got the money for a quad like the one you have....you can cough up 25 bux for a kill switch...

well i dont fell like selling it. then having to get a ride to this shipping store then paying for a new one and plus shipping .. easier to paint it.

you cant paint it, the one piece constantly slides in and out and you pull on the tab it wont last one ride even with krylon plastic paint..

painted it already. lol w.e if it turns to ****. ill have to buy a new one i guess... i dont pull that piece out all the time. i take it off my chest protector if i get off the bike. if i fall off, then thats a diff story.. oh well:p
