What are they? Where do you get them? How do you make them? What are they for?

Basically a 10 inch car tire that is used as a front tire on race machines. They are grooved for better traction. If I was at my own comp I would show you a pic. I believe you can get them from K&K and I think NACS carries them as well. They were the tire to use back in the day with grooved turf tamers. Awesome on dry tracks.

I have them, awesome on dry tracks, mud and wet tracks they aren't very good.

Here's what the tires look like. Some guys uses a 'hot knife' tool and groove them themselves.

Here's another. They're for sale. Flush mounted valve stems too, so the wheels can be flipped and used either way.
