Exhuast leak

i have an lrd, 3 parts. where my silencer connects to the little short surve part of the header it is leaking. could that casue my atv to sputter and stall out?

when u wot it so times it will bog other times it wont. then after 4mins of ridding it dies. then u wait a few and it fires us. the bike sat for about 1month, then it started doing this. i already tryed fresh gas, new plug.

i doubt thats the problem, because where my pipe joints it leaks, you can feel it on your leg and ive never had a problem with it,
