I was reading up on them how do you install them? do you need another CR250 side case??

I think you talking about the stock TRX clutch cover thats modded so that when servicing the clutch, you dont have to take off the whole side cover, just the piece thats in front of the clutch. Many companies still do this, they usually just send you one already done and you have to send your side cover in as a core. Hope this helps!

my friend is a machinist and im buying the hinson replacement cover[100$] and have him mill the clutch cover on my 88 310 for cheap...instead of 400-500 for a pre made unit ....blah blah blah core...

Billit250R on ebay does the mod and they leak. Porosity in the weld. Beware $165 is no sweet deal. I re-tig welded mine. BEWARE
