Alright I know theres a ton of threads like this but I rejeted today to a 160 main from a 170 because I had black smoke comming from my exaust when I hit WOT and sombody said i was too rich. I have the lid off, WB slip on, powerfilter, and live "in the deep dark hills of eastern KY" bout 1800 ft.

Are these Dynojet jets? If so you could probably go even lower.

for the dynojet's with your mods a 160 is about right, you might get away with a 155, but it may be a tad lean. I will try it out with a fresh plug and let you know

Well with the 155 it still looks pretty good, really light tan on the verge of white. I know this is the optimal color to be, but it just seems to be pushing it to me, the 160 is a little deeper tan, and it seems to run good for me. I don't want to push my luck on getting it too close to lean and start having problems...

whats your elevation where you live? Is it close to 1800ft?

I live at about 40ft above, but until you hit about 3000ft or so, it shouldn't matter. Weather can change it though, it was about 70 here when I tried out the 155. Most of the places I ride are at your level or above, and mine runs good.
