i read in a magazine once that atv companies can't make atv's go over 80mph stock,some law i guess. Has anyone else heard this before?.

not any longer. can you believe it is actually a polaris? they claim teh outlaw 525 is the fasted stock ATV with the KTM 510(525) motor in it.

My friends Raptor 700 felt like a dog with a full LRD Pipe and air filter...:ermm: 450r felt more powerful.

Suzuki LT500, Outlaw 525, LT-R450, YFZ-450.

I have a hard time believe that the newer quads are faster than the LT500, that thing is just a beast.

Did your friend have a fuel controller because the 700r is a torque monster. My stock 700r is dead even with HRC 450r's. But im getting ready to buy a 450r cause its light and you can throw it around on the trails easier.

Its not about speed unless you plan on drag racing, stock for stock my 450r has bein the ltr and the yfz just 2 days out the box and its still doig it now

completely stock a lt500 still holds the record, a ds650 is in real close second. If you wanted the fastest stock 3 wheeler, 86/87 tecate 3 and real close in second is the 86 atc250r
