hey guys i was wondering if i can use this on my exhaust bolts on my WB slip-on silencer the ones that hold the disks on, it's called Permatex Antisiese it has a 1600 degree heat rating here's a pic of what it looks like.

I would think so, it's just an anti-sieze formula.

You should probably use a mild threadlocker for those bolts, to ensure that they dont back out.

well i havent lost a bolt yet i keep them on the tight side some what.

anti sieze wont really help your cause any if you are trying to keep them tight. anti-sieze is for when you are putting aluminum on regular steel. the two being put together without something in between them will cause a reaction and corossion that will lock the bolts together. any thread locker should be good for what you are doing.

No you are putting a steel bolt in a aluminum housing that is the last thing you want to use.

do not use tread locker. tryed that on my 300ex and when i tryed to take the nuts off the studs came out......use the antisieze

That stuff is what I use on my oxygen sensor bung when I have the plug installed so it wont seize up. (6" back form the motor). It works great.
