2005 Predator trade for 450r or rap 700r.

I have an 05 Predator with DG Nerfs, Twin Air Clamp on (jetted), American racing star tie rods, pro armor bumper and grab bar, new front wheel bearings, needs nothing ready to ride.. trade for 450r or raptor 700r +some cash possibly...

I rode one for the last three years, I bought a yfz this year, and I do like it better.

Well actually i do like the predator alot .... Tons of power and i've beat almost every other quad there is in a straight drag...... but parts are easier to find for the other models.... not a big fan of the yfz cuz they're so narrow... just not comfortable for me to ride.


p.s. my pred also has a Pure Polaris Pipe

I know what you mean, Polaris parts are harder to get, aftermarket upgrades as well. The first thing I did to my new yfz was make it wider. I have to give yamaha props, This quad does everything better than my Predator, both are modded out the same. The yfz is so much easier to throw around, in the air and on the ground. The power is a bit stronger on the yfz, it has a midrange hit that is stronger and quicker than the polaris. I have ridden the raptors and honestly did not like them. Great low end power, but no hit. Plus they are heavy and awkward to ride.

got to admitt....... the pred is a rather well built machine and i would like to trade it rather than sell and look for another one..... it;s a great all around quad for trail and track.... you rode one for 3 years so you must have liked it too???

I liked it, the pred had a lot about it I liked. The motor was great, it would take off like a wild animal. It jumped well also, but it had limits that were linked to being heavy. I ride 80% of the time in the sand dunes, and for that it was good, smoth suspension, wide and strong. I ride pretty fast, and the guys I ride with are all fast. I found the newer 450's just out class the predator. I had to work hard to keep the pace, I had better suspension but they have more power,I felt like a ford trying to keep the pace with a porshe.

pretty much just looking for a 450r or 700r..... maybe a yfz.... rather one of the first two... thanks for the offer though
